Who The Heck Am I?
I’m you, just a short time ago. I was fed up with the price of cable and satellite TV. Having to pay more and more each month just to watch my favorite TV shows. Some months, I didn’t even watch more than a few hours of TV. But that didn’t matter to the cable (or satellite) company. My bill was still the same price every month.
I Was Frustrated
I was sick and tired of forking over more than $100 each month for cable and other video content. I knew there had to be a cheaper way. The problem was, it’s complicated to cut the cord.
- First, you have to buy an HD antenna to access the local channels.
- Second, you have to purchase a streaming TV device to access TV content over the internet.
- Finally, you have to select the appropriate content packages that gets you access to the shows you want to watch.
And what if you go through this entire process just to find out you didn’t even save any money?
That’s where I was.
Well, What the Heck Did you Do About it?
I cut the cord. I got out my largest pair of scissors and called Mr. Cable to say goodbye. I vowed to never return.
- No more surprise price increases when my “promotional period” was over
- No more “we’re sorry but you’ll just have to pay an additional $9.99 a month for access to that channel”
- No more working a second job to pay for my monthly cable bill (ok, maybe that was a stretch … but you get the point)
